Senior Manager, Marketing – KI Concerts: 2024-3223


The Position:

Headfirst Companies is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing – KI Concerts to enhance brand recognition and spur revenue growth for our KI Concerts division. Reporting to Headfirst Companies’ Vice President of Marketing, this strategic, hands-on leader will serve as a key member of the Marketing team focused on the KI Concerts division. The Senior Manager, Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing KI Concerts’ B2B marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

They will possess well-honed analytical, creative, and communication skills, and be able to lead a team to execute against high standards of excellence.

 

This role is a full-time corporate position. The ideal candidate will be interested and able to work primarily in-person from our Washington, D.C. HQ offices; hybrid or remote work arrangements may be considered for the right candidate. Some domestic and international travel is required (comprising up to three weeks per year).

What You'll Do:

  • Set marketing plans for the year using industry leading B2B marketing principles and deliver revenue growth goals for the company. 
  • Develop strong positioning and compelling personalized content to elevate the KI Concerts brand and capture hearts & minds among our target “North Staraudience of music directors and educators. 
  • Lead the execution of all marketing initiatives across channels, including search, email, social, website, events, partnerships, and more. The candidate must be comfortable both developing strategy and getting hands-on across every facet of marketing in order to accelerate impact. 
  • Identify and implement scalable and efficient customer acquisition programs. 
  • Manage the KI Concerts marketing team directing workflow based on organizational priorities, providing guidance and insight into industry best practices, and developing key talent. 
  • Oversee external contractors to effectively coordinate and deliver on all Marketing needs to achieve maximum impact. 
  • Create and maintain the annual divisional marketing budget for KI Concerts, allocating funds across relevant channels/initiatives in a strategic and forward-looking manner. 
  • Manage a large customer database to develop segmentation strategies and personalized engagement programs that increase retention and advocacy. 
  • Partner closely with Sales to nurture leads and optimize conversion rates. 
  • Implement data-driven approaches to optimize marketing performance, test new channels, and provide regular reporting. 
  • Develop and manage the KI Concerts marketing budget to ensure financial goals are met. 
  • Partner with Operations and Sales to develop programs, campaigns, and collateral that leverage our deep connections with key partners. 
  • Serve as the primary contact for all sponsorship requests.  
  • Represent and advocate for the perspectives of KI Concerts customers and key partners in all business matters, serving as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders to allow the entire Headfirst organization to feel a deep connection with our participants, partners, and anyone else that is “touched” by a KI Concerts experience. 
  • Take on other responsibilities as assigned. 


About You:

The Requirements

  • 6+ years of marketing experience with an emphasis on B2B products or services.

  • A successful track record of collaborating with Sales teams to hit revenue goals.

  • Experience producing compelling omnichannel content and editorial strategies.

  • Deep expertise in lifecycle B2B marketing. Hands-on proficiency with HubSpot is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience using data to drive strategy, execution, and optimization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or music administration.

  • Personal experience with choral or orchestral music is a plus. A passion for international travel is a must!
