  • The Position:

    The Social Media Marketing & Production Intern for the The Headfirst Companies will use their knowledge of social media, graphic design and video production to create content across the organization.  They will be responsible for the management of design & producing promotional content for our multiple social media channels as well as training materials for the upcoming summer seasonal team. The Social Media Marketing & Production Intern will play a pivotal role in promoting & growing Headfirst’s overall brand vision  for our award-winning Headfirst Summer Camps, our Honor Roll High School Baseball & Softball Showcases along with our partnership with 6 MLB teams – the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates and the Washington Nationals.

    What You'll Do:

    • Design. Create graphics & marketing content to meet specific organizational needs, such as onsite materials, displays, print & digital products, & other productions upon request.
    • Collaborate. Work alongside the Talent & Curriculum Development teams in production of content for the training of seasonal team members that include, but are not limited to, virtual training videos & webinars, team handbooks & reference guides, & camp program curricula using Adobe Photoshop or similar graphics software in order to provide a polished & clear training model for seasonal team members.
    • Create. Work with the Marketing team to develop promotional materials that include flyers for distribution, as well as social media content & scheduled postings.
    • Go above and beyond. Create a diverse & robust media database that will be used throughout the upcoming & future camp seasons.
    • Contribute. Provide additional ideas & suggestions on new and emerging methods of social connection that may be used to increase brand awareness, & drive traffic to the company website, as well as all social media channels.
    • Proof. Review projects through all stages to obtain internal approvals.
    • Flex. Take on additional responsibilities & tasks as identified or requested by Headfirst leadership.

    About You:

    • You have:
      • Completed at least 3 years at an accredited undergraduate institution.
      • A diverse portfolio of work samples that include creative social media content, video production, & other relevant marketing materials. Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Suite, and/or other common design software; experience using Wordpress or web design a plus.
      • Possession of excellent verbal & written communication skills.
      • The ability to take direction and work independently to meet deadlines for product distribution.
      • The desire and willingness to act as both an executor and idea-generator, able to bring team members’ visions to life and also contribute and communicate new ideas and concepts.
